Simulation tools

To assist industries in optimizing processes, ECM R&D team is using a variety of tools. Before actual tests are performed, parts behavior and gas quench can be simulated. ECM notably uses simulation tools like QuenchAL, developed by Air Liquide. It helps establish the right formulas and recipes by entering parameters like steel grade, quench intensity and duration.
