ICBP- Flex - modular concept

ICBP® is the innovative family of ECM low pressure carburizing solutions. ICBP® modular and flexible architecture is designed to meet the highest standards of parts quality and process productivity. ICBP® integrates heat treatment into a unique machine shop, including vacuum carburizing as well as gas and/or oil quench.

ICBP Modular Installation

> Modularity protects investment

in addition to immediate productivity, the ICBP® modularity brings long-term investment protection. Each ICBP® is assembled around an evolutive and extensible tunnel, which receives various heat treatment cells.

> Scaleable to keep up with growth

The ICBP® ranges from 1 to 10 heating cells, from the ICBP® 100 to ICBP® 1000. To align with growth, extra treatment cells can be added, at a very low cost and in very short time to increase capacity.

> Flexibility makes the difference

ICBP® can simultaneously carry out different treatments in different cells: at the same time, you can heat treat various types of parts in ICBP®, each with their own programs.

ICBP® cells are either:

  • electric heating high temperature heating cells (low pressure carburizing® or carbonitriding®, austenitizing, brazing…)
  • convection heating low temperature heating cells (preheating, tempering, nitriding…)
  • quenching cells: high pressure gas quenching or oil quenching

Parts loads are transferred between cells by a high-speed heat-insulated cart.

> Full command of treatment programs

Each recipe is prepared and simulated before the heat treatment. When a cycle starts, all steps and parameters can be followed in real time. All those recipe data are recorded and stocked in a database. This system fits with quality management requirements. Moreover, operators benefit from a user friendly interface.
